The Customer Requirements LEC Liverpool Ltd has a number of production lines and requires an ink jet on each line to print a code onto the base of aerosol cans to enhance traceability. Although LEC Liverpool Ltd had a number coders supplied by a well known competitor, when an additional coder was required for a new production line they researched for an alternative supplier due to the poor level of service and support provided and also the high Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
