Citronix Launches ci2000 System

Citronix has launched the new ci2000 Continuous Ink Jet (CIJ) IP65 rated system for high dust or extreme environments.

The Citronix ci2000 has been specifically designed to operate in high dust or extreme environments.

With a positive air pressured enclosure and generators to create positive air for the printhead there are absolutely no entry points for dust, making the ci2000 the ideal solution for printing in the most extreme production environments.

Featuring a pressure switch for controlling operation, the system utilises factory air (20psi regulated) and not an electric fan for cooling. With factory air being naturally cool, the ci2000 will provide significantly lower make-up consumption compared with competing systems, especially in hot environments.

Capable of printing 5 lines (31 pixel) of text, the ci2000 system features:

Optional ci2000 Systems:

  • ci2000 Pigment – print legible characters on dark substrates
  • ci2000 Food Grade – print directly to food products
  • ci2000 Security – print invisible codes for security
