£27,000+ per annum, based on experience
This exciting hybrid role is ideal for someone with corporate communications and marketing experience ready for the next stage of their career in a busy, growing, and ambitious company.
The corporate communications aspect will include (but not limited to) working closely with the Executive Directors, understanding their long-term vision and project goals, then translating that into easy-to-understand content (and actionable plans) that can be communicated to employees and/or external companies via internal/external channels (i.e. company intranet, PR activities, etc.).
Marketing activities include working closely with the Executive Directors, learning on the job, and providing marketing support to The Needham Group of companies as required. Knowing marketing fundamentals, being highly organised, and able to manage your time between varied projects will be keys to success in this role.
The marketing aspect involves supporting marketing and sales activities across the group – whether through email campaigns, printed collateral, PR events, or other activity using your graphic design skills. The ability to write and edit content and manage the group’s social media channels are also important to the role.
The ideal candidate is confident, tenacious, and familiar with standard office software packages such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with graphic design software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator) would be very advantageous.
Those with a marketing degree or equivalent qualification would be well suited to this role. Those with a journalism, PR, or communications background are also encouraged to apply.
Enthusiasm, an inquisitive mind, and keen attention to detail are essential to this position.
The Needham Group Ltd. is based in Whitchurch, Shropshire and the job will be based in our Head Office at this location.
